Shawl Ministry
We are asking volunteers from across the country to knit for us. We ask that you donate your time and materials, and
also that you try to incorporate a “red thread” in the shawl. When your shawl is complete, please add a little something
about yourself (name, city, state, organization), then ship the shawl to us in Ohio.
You are welcome to write a note to a child. A $5 donation covers the cost of shipping.
To each shawl we add a card with a poem, “Little One” by Jennifer Lane, a stuffed toy and pair of socks or flip flops. For some children, these are the only items that are truly their own which makes them extra special.

May this shawl wrap you in love.
Love that knows no boundaries.
Love that never stops reaching.
May your heart be warmed by the prayers of those who bound these threads together.
May you rest, protected, in the safety of God's arms.
May the Angels guide your steps toward all the good things that await your breath.
May you walk forward into tomorrow toward that thread of love...
...toward the heart of God.
