About the artist
I have always been interested in working with my hands. During my long career as a Corporate Event Planner I took several classes to find my passion. After experimenting in ceramics, drawing, mosaics and glass casting, I stumbled across jewelry and metals and was hooked. Within no time a studio was set up in my home; there was no doubt this is what I wanted to do.

In the spring of 2005, my husband and I relocated from Philadelphia to the mountains of New Hampshire; enabling me to leave my corporate career and begin creating jewelry full time.

Passionate about pursuing my new career as an artist, I feel my work needs to have significance beyond designing and creating unique pieces of jewelry. My vision is to have my work benefit others in some way. Creating a partnership with The Red Thread falls beautifully in line with that vision.

The jewelry I create is currently sterling silver and copper although I am always trying new techniques and medium to expand my designs. I feel my work is simple and bold, and I’ve been told that description matches my personality. Each piece is hand crafted and no two are exactly alike. It is important to me that a piece feel good in my hands once it is complete. Whether it is the weight, the texture or the shape, I keep working on the piece until that feeling is achieved.
